答錄機的優美聲線似乎是造做出來的，相當刻意，這樣刻意使得人與機器的距離相當接近，並不會有冰冷的回應。但是對於按鍵的回應也還是冰冷的，對於優美聲線結束之後的真實人聲，在錄音好的「聲音」出現之後，讓使用者錯愕、疑惑。

傳真機是最愚笨的機器，在這個世代所存在的意義就是只有卡紙以及不停的發出逼逼聲音，我舉出幾項他的缺點，這些都讓情人難以忍受。
1、來者不拒：今天就算快沒有紙了，傳真機一如往常的忠實呈現對方的「心意」，而對方傳了10張沒有用的東西，我方也會如實吐出。這種沒有節制的愚笨接收，好比「視窗炸彈的原理」。
2、逼逼吵鬧：聲音十分吵鬧，除了消耗大量的碳粉、色帶、紙之外，還要忍受愚蠢人士把「傳真號當作電話號」撥打的愚蠢！
